April
- Had to prepare and give a three-hour lecture on neuroanatomy for a local community college.
- Was given one week's notice from my boss to write an abstract for a conference next fall, based on data I don't have yet.

So, this weekend was disappointing. I had a huge list of things that I wanted to get done, errands to run, etc; all the tires in my car were pretty low, and I was planning on driving up to the city next weekend to get an oil change/tire rotation done because there's nowhere here in town that I've found that I like. Earlier this week, my boss asked me to review a paper for her that was relevant to my graduate background. Positivity day 3
Yeah, go me! - quality control on the RNA that I isolated a couple weeks ago (new method, I really had no idea what I was doing) came back as excellent! Whoohoo!
What I am excited about tomorrow - a whole day in my office to analyze data; no experiments. -
Busy days are busy
I really want to get my current Hei/Misaki story finished, but I have a serious lack of time to write this week. Snow day
So much for being worried about my flight on Tuesday getting canceled - should have been worried about today! Oh well...I'm rebooked on a flight tomorrow, and got to spend this afternoon walking around the mall in lots of cold, cold snow. It was very pretty - but now I remember why I moved south...
