I haven't read ecosopher's entry yet, but I wanted to tell you that you certainly captured the "high school girl" feel very well.

Sounds like all the things I hear , because I am at the 'invisible' age, I can listen and nobody notices. LOL. You nailed it perfectly, the teenage angst. Well done.

I could identify with Violet's feelings of being the one left behind. Course when I was a teenager, it only meant not holding hands in the movies or not getting a goodnight kiss at the door. The times are sure different now!

I thought after reading both you both intersected perfectly, the friend wanting every detail being left behind while her friend was wanting to take it back. Not sure how to talk to her friend. Well done, both of you.
