I just broke a glass while washing dishes, and within ten minutes of cleaning that up, I accidentally touched the edge of a pot of boiling water and, in response, flicked the spoontula* I was holding towards myself, spraying my lower abdomen with scalding water.

Damnit. Now I hate the kitchen. And my belly hurts.

* spoontula = large cooking spoon
