Even better - a nice, hot cycle in the sunshine back up that damn big hill....

Cycled in today - first time since The Rains. It's supposed to tip it down this afternoon, but - crucially - brighten up for the ride home.

I hope.

So I'll be nice and knackered, but hopefully fitter, just in time to drive down to Dover !

Got to do some horse-riding last Thursday at the firm's expense on a fun day - did a little bit of trot and a bit of canter - then a nice walk in the forest ( Read more... )

Cycled into work and back with my new panniers - ug, flurble, ug - I don't know who I'm trying to impress with all this fitness mularky !

To combat lethergy and generally finding something to do on these warm weekends, we took a trip to Halfords and bought bicycles for myself and Jo.

I had to buy a flat-pack, but Jo got a showroom model (for less) and we took them up to Sherwood Pines, a forestry area for cycling, walking, etc which I went to on a previous Work's day out.
