Ack, while out running around with asians tonight, I had a little car trouble. My tire blew out on 290! It's a good thing there was no traffic (it was late, you see) and it didn't make me lose control of my car. I don't know what happened.. I have tiny tires I guess because my car is supposed to be a "sport" car? I don't think it's sporty, but ( Read more... )

Oh man that sucks. Glad you're alright and everything though, that's the most important part - whether you're ok or not I mean.

Oh yeah, one more thing; filing taxes?!?!?

haha yeah, parents came and helped me. I'm so glad I didn't spin out and have an accident.

It sounds bad, right? We have some tax software so it was actually pretty easy.. it just asks you questions and you say yes or no (well, a little more complicated than that). And you know, I'm still my parents' dependant, so all I had to worry about were the paychecks.

Thoreau, Henry David: refused to pay tax money used to wage the Mexican War which he was opposed to; his acceptance of jail-time for said offense lead to the ideas of civil disobedience used by Ghandi, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Tolstoy. The man is my hero.

Was it the back left tire? I saw that it was a little flat thursday after school. It actually looked REALLY flat from behind but I guess from the side it wasn't like a flat tire...just needed air. But the tire above looks like a front tire..hm.
I got a little over 200$ back...heheh. Yeh but, 30$ is good considering you worked at promark for like 2 months or so. Is that a seasonal job for you (going back in the summer?) or did you just quit fo'eva!...?

yeah, actually it was the left rear tire. :/ I guess I need to start paying more attention to my tires before I drive!

I'd really rather work somewhere else, so I'm gonna apply to some other places before college kids come home. If I can't find any other jobs, I guess I'll try promark again. It wansn't hard.. just extremely boring! There's this optometrist place on 1960 that kim said needs to hire somebody for day shifts during the summer, to do like a receptionist type job?.. and the guy there was going to hire kim until she told him she had another job. so, I'm hoping I can get that job, or something similar.
