I think Virtually Normal was from the '90s, so Andrew Sullivan made a revised edition a few years ago after people started getting married, or trying to be.
Jonathan Rauch spoke at a San Francisco bookstore for his book Gay Marriage: Why It Is Good for Gays, Good for Straights, and Good for America so I went, heard him talk, and bought it for his autograph. Now it's in paperback and others have written more books on marriage.
I came upon it while working on the 01.18.08 mystery. I am sure you have heard of it having the name of one of the main characters. Your profile looked interesting and I thought I would add you to my friends.
