This is too much.
I'm grieving the loss of my old job.
Fearing the start of the new.
Trying to plan a wedding in 5 months.
Still being mom and wifey.

I don't want to do it anymore. This is too much. How about everybody just fucking show up to the wedding, okay? Do I really have to write a stupid verse for the invitations? YOU SHOULD SEE HOW STUPID THEY ( Read more... )

Please buy a cake from safeway.
That would be freaking awesome.
You could buy a bunch of different kinds and get them custom frosted and shit for way less than a wedding cake.
Any cake you have at a wedding is by definition a wedding cake.

after i posted this i watched a bridezilla episode where the bride literally went to safeway the night before for her flowers. she just bought bouquets and took them apart and rearranged them. Funny thing was, they looked great! I may just do that haha.

Sorry, I don't even know you, but go for the Safeway cake. Nobody will care and you'll save tons of money. I'm a self-proclaimed wedding freak, and you can make your wedding as big or as little as you want. And be sure to rant like this a lot, because it will help. Best wishes to you.

umm maybe you should come to my reception THIS saturday and realize how simple things really can be! except... i'm not sure how it will all look, but it is definitely going to be simple! you really can come if you want though!

haha well thank you. if you couldn't tell from the post--i was having a semi-breakdown. it all just seems like too much sometimes when I'm expected to also have a full time job and be mom and wife (i'm basically already living as i'm married, so i have all the wife-y rolls already).

i'm sure everything will be okay. i just get overwhelmed.

and HOW EXCITING yours is this Saturday! Good luck and I'm sure it will be amazing.
