scones are good, tyler florence is not
until recently, i thought scones were hard biscuits with raisins in them, but after drinking tea all over boston, i have found out that i love scones! if you think that scones are like hard tack, you haven't had a good one.

fried fish = yummy
i don't know why i don't fry fish more often. it's yummy! inspired by a recent good eats rerun, i fried two bass fillets with wonderfully delicious results. i highly recommend alton's Pan Fried Fish. it's so easy: season, flour, fry, flip. add capers and lemon juice. tada!

yoga that makes you feel the burn
so, i got a one week pass at the new bikram yoga studio nearby. i'm not sure why. i've been feeling the urge to be a little more healthy. maybe it's the nice weather and the rapidly approaching swimsuit season (although it's highly unlikely that i'll be wearing a swimsuit this summer ( Read more... ) -

for those of us not blessed with an outdoor grill, we have to keep finding new ways to make ribs juicy and tender. tried a new recipe out tonight, and it was great! too bad it takes 2 hours to cook!
