You and I have lived through many things

And if you want to talk about what will be
Come and sit with me and cry on my shoulder, on a friend...
And if you want to talk about it anymore
Lay here on the floor and cry on my shoulder once again...It's been awhile since I've shown my appreciation for the people in my life. You know the ones... those who make getting up in the morning worth it ( Read more... )

I think I may have just cried.. but I'm not sure cause I'm still in such a beautiful shock at reading these words.
I love you sweetie. and I miss you terribly. I reminise at times about high shcool... and when I look back like nearly ALL of my high school memories are about you/ involve you/ you knew about. Friends like that just don't fade away. You will forever be my Sarah Mills, Extreme Athiest.
I hope you are well and I hope to see you soon. ::Hugs::

Sarah,
I don't know what to say except thank you. I'm not sure what it is, I just felt more of a connection with you "older" people, even though I felt so much younger. I appreciate your respect, and please know that I return it tenfold. I'm so sorry for not keeping in touch over the past few months. We need to make up for that this summer, and by that I mean hanging out more than once. I've been away from, and out of contact with my Baltimore people for far too long, especially this semester. I look forward to sitting at a party somewhere and watching a beer pong tournament or something of that drunken nature :) Again, thank you so much, and I hope to see you soon.
Sam

definitely crying...you know how i am, haha. this came at just the right time. i love this: "But sometimes, people show us the light where we thought it might never glow." it's so true. i love that you know that i know you love me, but you still tell me anyway. and our little break up in middle school? so worth it for what we have now. to paraphrase some movie dialogue, just knowing that you are such an amazing, wonderful woman, and knowing that you love me, makes me feel good about being me. and you know that's not easy.

oh sarah.
these are a lot of beautiful words about people, and i'm honored that my name is among them. i'll obviously never forget you either. you came along at a time in my life when i really needed someone to be there, and lucky for me, it wasn't just any someone, it was someone who was actually worth knowing and keeping in my life. it's been more or less a constant in my life to have people i love, people close to me, move far away, but through that i've come to understand that distance is truly meaningless. of course i don't think it's bullshit when you say you miss me, i miss you too! life is nuts, it's hard enough for me to find time to get home to see my family, let alone visit friends. but no matter how much time passes, i'll always be amazingly happy to see you again. though i am sad you left fordham, i have so much respect for you in that you did what you felt was best for you, and i hope hope hope your life is better now because of it.
