The lawn guy was smarter than me. Much smarter. By leaps and bounds smarter. He took the liberty of finding someone ELSE to mow my lawn for me. So the guy comes tomorrow to check out the grounds. We'll see what he says. But, for now, Jon has only very slightly redeemed himself ( Read more... )

I don't see how this relates to your alleged status as a dumbass. :)

But I wish you and your lawn nothing but doting care by the new lawn man.

Because at least he had the good sense to NOT come, whereas I didn't have the good sense to NOT call.

Well, new lawn man didn't show up today. He loses one brownie point. I called him and he was apologetic. It was a miscommunication. He was being respectful of my owl-like hours. SO! Friday. We'll see if we like new lawn man. And hopefully he's either single or fugly.
