Adventures in Influenza!
Little Madilexy has the flu, type A. She got her flu shot like a brave little girl, did better than her BIG cousin Zachary (who cried like a little wimpy wusspants), yet somehow managed to attract the little influenza A bug and harbor his fugitive little friends in her immune system for the next 7-14 days.

I cannot believe how utterly thrilled I was today. I slept through the inauguration, all the way, up until the parade down Constitution and Pennsylvania. Further Proof I'm A Dumbass
The lawn guy was smarter than me. Much smarter. By leaps and bounds smarter. He took the liberty of finding someone ELSE to mow my lawn for me. So the guy comes tomorrow to check out the grounds. We'll see what he says. But, for now, Jon has only very slightly redeemed himself ( Read more... ) -

I Miss Her
We're fastly approaching on the one-year anniversary of Genna's death a week from this Friday. I guess because I have a tendency to go "Well, this time last year I was..." or "This time last week I was..." just so I keep myself in check, either good or bad, and don't get too far to one extreme or the other.
