My mother's in hospital again. She had a bad fall shortly after getting up this morning, and hit her head on a doorframe. She's conscious & talking normally, but they're keeping her in for a while for observation. This means that I almost certainly won't be online much for at least the next week & probably longer, because I'll be visiting her

Does her Family MD do home visits? Better yet,can she get Geriatric Medicine outreach (something invented in the UK) home visit with a case manager to help with an assessment to help prevent a recurrence?

I haven't actually heard the term 'Geriatric Medicine outreach' mentioned yet, but when I saw her today she said that she was being assessed for various kinds of help.
