Mum is continuing to recover (the swelling around her right eye has almost completely gone down by now, although she still can't see very clearly through it) and has been moved from the Emergencies Assessement Unit to another ward (in the other fairly local hospital) to convalesce ( Read more... )

I'm glad to hear that your mother is getting better from her fall. I hope that it hasn't shaken her up too much to be in hospital.

I very much hope that your mum, and yourself, will get some support in dealing with future difficulties. But those do tend to be rather hard to get these days unfortunately. Fingers crossed though.

I agree that your mom should have some help when she gets
home.Perhaps a home-care worker or something?

I'm so sorry to hear about the increasing wobbly from Parkinson's...unfortunately, you are probably going to have to worry about more falls.

:(

I'm very, very glad to hear that she's doing well enough to be transferred between wards, though. That's a good sign.
