The funniest part of coming back here was when I clicked on the My Friends button to see what my friends have posted. My own wee tagline for it is "People Who Admire And Look Up To Me In Every Way". There were no posts. No one admires and looks up to me. Fine then!

So Caitlin and I are talking about our old posts on this thing and we have come to the conclusion that when we were younger our posts can be condensed like this:

My liver has taken a lot of hits over the past few days. After the Numskull practice a couple of days ago I’ve been steadily drinking, working, drinking.. repeat. Is this what Numskull does to me?! So, my new bass finally arrived. It's a great wee thing. Been ages since i've played the bass guitar so most of the say has consisted of me getting back to grips with it and relearning my old bass lines. Some of them are overly complicated. So, I was bored last night and ended up watching a bunch of Misfits and Ramones videos on YouTube. I find this somewhat theraputic (unlike many people, who would find this suicide enducing) and came to a moment of realisation.

So it's my day off and my new bass for Numskull was meant to arrive today. With this in mind, I realised i'd have to stay in here until it's been dropped off... but no. I've been staring out the window for the past 10 hours.. I don't think it's coming today. Awesome.

On the bright side, I have read a lot.

Woohoo! I'm off today! I'm totally shattered and sore. This week has involved so much training so far and it's only Wednesday morning.  Jogged up to Prokick in Belfast on Monday night from Holywood, did kickboxing, jogged home and yesterday was a two and a half hour monster session in the gym with cardio, weights and taking a spin and fitball class ( Read more... )

I’ve changed a lot over the past 10 years or so. I mean a lot. I’m still the same person and everything, I still try and be a loving, caring, selfless person, but sometimes like everyone else I mess up. I guess it’s the human condition and there’s only so much a person can do.
