Yesterday I attended a Mozart concert at my parish. Least anyone think me more cultured than I actually am, I was not there entirely on my own volition. Listening to Mozart though made me appreciate the value of endings. (That’s not just because I was only semi-listening the entire time.)

are you shoor it wasn't because you were just semi-listening? tee hee.

i was invited to a baseball game today, detroit tigers vs. iforgotwho but i declined. hence, i have been accused of being a philistine! bah.

Being exposed to an “alien” art form also made me appreciate the other side of the fence, those people who find lit boring (and too be fair, some of it really is).

I was thinking of a way to counterattack this last claim, but then I paused and realized... egag... you are right. Reminded me of the good ol' days with Pulan and Acuña, and all those dead white poets we had to study.
