I generally call the first floor of my house a "downstairs," but other people call it a "basement." Now that I think about it, it is more of a basement because it's so cluttered and dark and cold that it can't be anything but a basement. I think that basement has more of a negative connotation than downstairs does.

This weekend has gone by slower/faster than any weekend I've ever lived through. (?)

Time can disappear.

My eyes have just grown and my vision has expanded.

I realized that everything is beautiful, but on a much deeper level.

I can't explain any of it to anyone. It's a feeling that cannot be translated into words.
