Jo came to stay - it was a blast. We went out drinking one night and then I through a sickie the next day and we ate cheesey fries at KFC, went to the zoo and ate Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Now Jo is gone and it is all back to normal - i.e work sucks.

I think part of my problem at the moment is coping with stress. In the past when I was stressed I would resort to binge eating or binge drinking. Unfortunately due to my lifestyle change (i.e losing 40kg) I must resist the urge to binge eat for fear of putting weight back on and alcohol is just too damn expensive in Singapore. I finally finished a major project just before I left to go to Auckland and then I come back to find they changed their minds and want it done differently. Now on a daily basis they come at me wanting it done another way. My manager just keeps shifting the goal posts and tomorrow I get to have morning tea with the CEO and my manager - as if I wasn' ( Read more... )

My job seems to get worse on a daily basis. I managed to ladder three pairs of panty-hose today and my cold won't go away. I am really tired and would love to sleep for a week but I can't see it happening in the near future.

On the upside: Jo is coming to visit next week on her way home from Europe - sounds like an excuse for shopping and eating

Right now - I hate being in Singapore. I cried on the way to work this morning because I didn't want to go back to my awful job. I miss my family and my fab friends.

Fiji was incredible - I am thinking of moving there permanently...

I made it to Auckland and have been so busy that I haven't had time to update. On Thursday I hopped off the plane and went into town to do some shopping and have a couple of glasses of bubbly for afternoon tea with Bex.
