The Sleeper Must Awaken
I got a chance this week to experience something new -- my puppies experiencing the ocean for the first time.
To say it was wholly successful would be overstating things. Frankly, my two chihuahua mixes took a look at the big, pulsating growly thing and wanted little to do with it. That's okay though; the goal was the experience, for good or not.

Its been a while since i wrote. In my defense, ive been through a bout with C-19 and 2 rounds of gout, which kinda drained any desire to write out of me, but i realized several things

Healing
I find new reasons daily to be thankful. I have friends who love me and watch out for me. I have a sense of fulfillment every day and a strong level of faith that backs me up when things seem more sour than usual. More Grateful Wanderings
Had a really good time tonight playing D&D 3.5 edition with friends. This game really opens up my creative side. It is an anchor of sorts for me, a way to safely let go for a while and just be.

What am I grateful for?
I've decided that one thing I want to do is to record things, events, people and ideas i am grateful for as they happen. I need a record of things sometimes; a bear of little brain like me often has a storage like a sieve. Regaining myself
I find that during this time of chaos and unpredictability it's really hard for me to keep hold of what makes me me. A lot of what I held sacred and firm has changed. Some things I thought where an indelible of me now seem like they don't belong anymore. I guess I need to start writing again. I always found words could anchor me.
