Gravity
The Newtonian apple, a Gravenstein or
Red Delicious or Fuji or a Gala or Braeburn
Or Granny Smith--
The Newtonian apple of any iteration
was attracted to the center of the earth,
as the oblong path of our rock spins closer
to its star, rotation after rotation, the danse
macabre of a mosquito toward a bulb on the

Sometimes I miss that competitive edge I had with Greg that comes with a complete and utter lack of trust. Wait a second, I've never not had that with a guy.
