I have discovered that LJ is not really used or read by people anymore. So it's become a public private journal. You know, I think that just might prompt me to post here more often. -
Rather cold and harsh
Last night, I auditioned for Henry V being done by a theatre group about 10 miles from where I live. You had to read a monologue or historical speach given to a group of people. And then they gave you a sonnet that you had to read. Afterwards, I asked them when they'd be posting call backs. They said it'd be up by today (Thursday). So I get ( Read more... ) -
Loss
I am grieved to say that my baby boy, Reese, died today. After the dental work, he just simply stopped eating. The vet and I tried what we could to stimulate him and get him to eat again. To no avail. He simply lost interest in food and water. This evening, I got home from work to find him barely clinging to life. I picked him up and held him ( Read more... ) -
Dental work on a guinea pig
*sighs* My poor baby boy. Reese hasn't been himself for a while. He hasn't been eating or drinking much, so I called the vet when I got home this afternoon. They had an opening at 5:30 today. So I plopped Reese in the carrier and off we went. I think he's getting used to these trips. The vet said that a bad smell was coming from his mouth and she ( Read more... ) -
My poor baby boy
I had to take Reese, my male guinea pig, to the vet. His jaw is misaligned, so that his incisors don't come together. Therefore, his teeth don't wear down like they should. So I had to take him in to get his teeth trimmed, as they were way too long. He was very good while he was there. He didn't fuss or cry out. In fact, I was more nervous ( Read more... ) -
Call-backs
Had call-backs tonight for Midsummer Night's Dream. There were 7 of us there and we had so much fun! We only read through Act 1 scene 1, and we changed roles once. But we read through and then did an improve of that scene where we had to hit the main points of the scene. The improve was the funniest part! 12 years ago today
It's been 12 years since my mom passed away from a heart attack. My sister posted on Facebook about how she still misses her. I haven't posted anything on Facebook, because I can't think of what to say. I post here instead, because my sister doesn't have a LJ account and therefore can't read this ( Read more... ) -
