Funny how some things never change

Back on the stage!
Last week, on a whim, I decided to audition for a play at the local theatre. Well, I got a part in the play! I was thoroughly surprised! Frankenmuth
Spend a fun filled day in Frankenmuth, MI. A wonderful little Bavarian-style town. Spent two hours in Zehnders' (an awesome restaurant) with two of my closest friends. Then we went off to get fudge. From there it was to the shopping mall so they could get popcorn from an amazing popcorn shop. Then off to Bronners, where it's Christmas all year ( Read more... ) -
My little Reese Cup
For those that actually read this journal, I have a new guinea pig. He's black and tan with a white patch on his forehead. Due to his coloring, his name is Reese. He's still nervous and runs from me, but it's only his second day here. He's settling down nicely, and will even allow me to pet him. I've taken him out a few times and held him. Letting go of joy
Since none of my friend even read these LJ posts anymore, I'll just let my angst out here. I have decided this evening to not allow something to bring me pure joy again. I'll be content. Anyone seen an ark around here?
Got sent home early, due to flooding at work. And I mean FLOODING! Nearly an inch in some areas. Apparently a water main broke in the building attached to mine. The maintenance tunnels were flooded and water flooded the lower two floors. But that wasn't enough. Water came pouring into my building. We had to unplugged all our equipment and ( Read more... ) -
