I have now been divorced for four glorious years!  And as my mother so eloquently said "He is still such an asshole!" She also told me that in shorts the ex looked like Humpty Dumpty with hairy legs. I do love my mother so!

I know that I haven't been around for the past couple of weeks. There has been a lot going on both good and bad.

I received a call yesterday from a woman I have not seen since 1968! She is from England and her father was stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery.  She now lives in DC and works for the London Times and is covering Barak Obama. Words cannot describe how much I love my mother. This is what she says to us every May 1:

Of course she is in Alabama where it is much warmer than NJ, but I appreciate the sentiment anyway.
