I never thought I'd be happy to be back under a barrier. Oh Aces didn't suffer any damage, thankfully, so there isn't much for me to be doing right now.

I believe I might be bored. I'm not sure what to think of that.

There is! Some of the clubs here are great for music and meeting people. Xanadu's quite lovely once it's in full bloom and the zoo is a lot of fun.

Blinking, she glances up at the vampire, her hand stilling over the book she's got propped in her lap. The look makes her want to squirm in the chair, in more ways than one.

"Oh, I am too. I think I was misunderstood... I suppose it's just a release from the almost constant action the City put all of through for the last few days."

For once, it's just her in the room; no sign of her usual attendants.

He doesn't move from his spot against the door frame, at least not yet. His expression doesn't change. He's still firmly in predator mode.

I am! It wasn't so bad here once people were settled in. The getting them here safely was the hard part.
