Wow, wow, wow! I loved this! You really had me reeled in- and the brick wall when Clark stopped himself! Well, that's why I love him so much, he couldn't do it- Argh! the frustration! Loved Bruce too, he could love Clark in any universe- the line about the verb was awesome! I'm rambling, but I loved it!

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. Rambling after a story is usually good in my experience so I'm very flattered!

Mmmmm, sexy deliciousness and angsty love all rolled together into a HAWT ball of yum! I APPROVE.

“Clark, a verb alone does not a sentence make. Your previous statement had neither an object nor a subject. I apologize if, like most English speakers, I require both to understand what the hell you are talking about.”

This made me LOL for real. Today's grammar lesson is brought to you by BATMAN!

Awesome job! (I just wish Clark wasn't so damn ethical!)

Yay! I'm happy that you enjoyed the grammar humor, I wasn't sure it'd work for many people.

Awesome job! (I just wish Clark wasn't so damn ethical!)

I wish he wasn't so ethical either. In fact I didn't mean for the kissing scene to get so hot and heavy...or for the fic to take a turn to angst. Strange how that happens sometimes!

Hotness! Needs sequel, as desperately as Clark needs Bruce!

Thanks! I was actually thinking a of a sequel or in fact a sort of small series of fics around this idea... alas I am not certain it will happen as me and writing have a strange relationship. It doesn't always happen when I want it to and when it does it has a mind of its own.

I'm a bit bipolar myself, in that I'll read like a mad, insatiable thing for a while and then write like made. It's strange to ever do both in the same week or month. Sometimes I plan out stories, but when I write them I'm surprised by the ending! Just do what you can when you can, right?

Poor Bruce!

“Mmmf!” he said, before it morphed into an embarrassing, “mmmmm” when Batman’s pliant mouth and very talented tongue interrupted his overview of the ‘how the hell did he get here and what happened to this world’s Superman?’ crisis.

Don't resist, Clark, just take advantage of affectionate Batman and go with the flow. Please.

Right about now, he wished he didn’t always have to be so...ethical.

We wish so, too, Clark!

Great story that totally had me hungering for more. And Clark's reticence and habit of sticking morals where they don't necessarily need to belong were spot-on. :)

Thank you for you great feedback. Clark is such a party pooper with his morals, but I'm certain Batman can figure out some way to get what he wants... maybe with his own Superman?

Oh thank you! I am still getting used to writing these two so I wasn't sure of characterization. My Clark seems a bit doofy, which I think is fun but doesn't quiet pan out to the Clark we see in DCAU (who is actually a bit of a tool sometimes, especially in UJLA).
