“Clark, a verb alone does not a sentence make. Your previous statement had neither an object nor a subject. I apologize if, like most English speakers, I require both to understand what the hell you are talking about.”
This made me LOL for real. Today's grammar lesson is brought to you by BATMAN!
Awesome job! (I just wish Clark wasn't so damn ethical!)

I wish he wasn't so ethical either. In fact I didn't mean for the kissing scene to get so hot and heavy...or for the fic to take a turn to angst. Strange how that happens sometimes!

“Mmmf!” he said, before it morphed into an embarrassing, “mmmmm” when Batman’s pliant mouth and very talented tongue interrupted his overview of the ‘how the hell did he get here and what happened to this world’s Superman?’ crisis.
Don't resist, Clark, just take advantage of affectionate Batman and go with the flow. Please.
Right about now, he wished he didn’t always have to be so...ethical.
We wish so, too, Clark!
Great story that totally had me hungering for more. And Clark's reticence and habit of sticking morals where they don't necessarily need to belong were spot-on. :)
