In case you haven't reread vol3, chapter 1, you might want to take a look at the ending.lysiithea helped me fix some glitches in the translation at the end (thank you!)

Translating from Japanese takes forever, so I'm going to post by parts instead of chapters now. That way = faster updates

Wah! An update! Is it just me or is there an extra character the anime didn't introduce.

Yeah, I don't think Mizuo was in the anime, though I do remember some classmates making fun of Kasai.

I thought so. Maybe they thought it was better to not introduce another character.

...Yeah, that's true. Ayako barely showed her exorcism skills.

Suddenly, Ayako glared at me.

"Just then, you said that in your mind."

About this part, I don't really get it. Is Ayako trying to say that Mai said out loud what she was supposed to be thinking just now? Or did Ayako have an idea on what Mai's thoughts were?

I think it's the latter, however improbable that is.. Because there weren't quotations around what Mai said earlier.

Thank you very much for translation.

I liked very much how Naru really hesitates before spoon-bending in the novel.
And of course his whole reaction to Masako is hilarious.
All in all - is it just me - or does he indeed show much more reaction in the novels?

Yeah, I noticed that too. I think he really does show more reaction in the novels.

I can understand the pain of learning Japanese language, anyway. 'Cause I'm also in the middle of it!
Geez...!!!
May I help you with the words from the epilogue of volume 3? Pokan means dazed face, and Hadashi means barefoot/barefeet.
I think I have the akuryou series RAWs somewhere. If I can find it, maybe I'll translate it, too. Just hope my brain won't freeze first.
Ganbatte, anyway.
