Title: The Fifth Act

Rating: T for violence.

Summary: FFVII Time-travel. Gen. Cloud has an accident with a Time Materia.

Author's Note:  Luckily, this chapter is a rather short one, so I was able to get it out on time.  No update this weekend, though - I'll be going down to the coast.  So next chapter will be next wednesday.

Loved every moment of this but damn, you made my heart stop a few times hun.

Aww, Cloud and Kunsel were so warm and peaceful. Only yeah, the line about the helmet hiding his eyes = creepy. I hope it's not foreshadowing.

And then you got Cloud kidnapped and it was such a mood whiplash. Your fight scenes are as good as always; you really made me feel Cloud's confusion and desperation.

And the scene in the lab was a bit heartbreaking. We see Cloud's panic, and it hurts us.

Other Things Of Note: the bit about Seph's and Gen's tactical abilities, the bit about Seph being a genius and Cloud realizing most people don't see that side of him, the line about the pearls, the line about the scars and gloves.

That's a great term! 'mood whiplash'. I love it! And am excited if this chapter could induce that effect in you. :D

NUUUUUU! I didn't expect an update today and was about to sleep already but then I decided to check...

Waaaah!! My heart is beating so fast I don't think I can sleep anymore. (And if I do sleep, I believe I'd get nightmare's with Hojo written all over it >__<)

But the first part is really nice, with Cloud spacing out on Kunsel and all... heh. (I guess almost everything Kunsel says makes Cloud think a lot)

Thanks for the update! Can't wait for next week's chapter.

(...since it's virtually impossible to sleep at my current condition, I'm gonna read this chapter over and over again. Lol)

XD This is why checking any fanfic before bed is a Bad Idea. I had to implement a fic-checking curfew for myself for this very reason. Just saying, sleep is important! ;)

First things first- I absolutely adore your updating speed :D

Kunsel channelling Zack was cute- I always did like that dude. I'm glad he's getting more airtime :)

Another awesome thing- AC clothes! Woot!

And then Angeal you iiiddioooottttt! Cloud is going to hate your guts- he has trust issues already! And I cant wait to see what Genesis and even Sephiroth are going to say when they find out. Oh! And Zack, if Zack finds out, I wonder what he's gonna do! I can see why Angeal's doing what he's doing, but he should have at least asked first, especially as he's been one of the more mother-henning SOLDIER's. Desperate times call for desperate measures though, right? xD. Heh, it'll be interesting to see what Cloud's lab results come back with :D

Well, if Angeal tried asking first, then he would have lost the element of surprise! Element of surprise counts for a lot. Cloud took down Sephiroth once with it. o__o
