Title: The Fifth Act
Rating: T for violence.
Summary: FFVII Time-travel. Gen. Cloud has an accident with a Time Materia.
Author's Note: This chapter was a pain in the neck to get right during editing, but in the end, I've become a little fond of it. ^_^ Hopefully you like it too.

So, Cloud has been captured and Angeal has flown away. Which is weird, because I don't know if I'd put Cloud down as a "friend", but it does beg the question of who is the third one.

Huh, I doubt Tseng is going to get wind of this unless he's been secretly following the two without them knowing. Can't wait for this Sunday :>

I'm so utterly flabbergasted at the incredible characterization you have here, I can't really say how...simply amazing it is. I love the pace as well, fabulous plotline...my biggest problem is more or less that this isn't on FF.net (or a similar site), so I'll have to remember to keep checking back. ^^; Very much looking forward to more.

It parallels Crisis Core so well, but you can see he didn't have that final push (like, the wing, most symbolically, but also defecting and murdering, etc.). His reaction to Angeal's mutation is... well it sure is. He didn't think of himself as a monster, yet, just as a desperately sick man.
A powerful ending to a tense chapter.
