I can't remember what show I saw it on but there is a part that says..."Look! Look what I have made!!"
I made lunch today and that is what has been running through my head ever since.
It was delicious. The meat was tender. The black bean hash was zippy and tangy.

update
I realized that I posted such an emotional entry and then never followed up with it. The lump that they thought was cancer turned out to be benign. Mom is apparently a very healthy person for her age. Thank god for the small and sometimes large miracles in life. -

It has been a rough year. People always say that the holidays are the hardest, but I never thought it would be this hard. Dad loved Christmas. He was THAT guy where Christmas was all about the giving. He didn't want gifts but the huge smile that came from giving a gift someone really wanted. Tonight's dinner...
consisted of brown sugar baked chicken wings with a roasted red pepper sauce and grilled zucchini "fries" with greek yogurt ranch dip. I'm quite proud of how successful tonight dinner was :D

feeling bluntly honest today
It has been a minute since I posted on here mostly because life has been in the way, but I also haven't been on here since it seems no one is reading it - and that writing/reading relationship is what interested me in the first place. wow its been a few min since I posted last. The biggest thing that has happened...we moved. Not to the tropical awesomeness that I wanted but we did move. We now call Kalispell MT home.
I can't even begin to descibe how it feels to own our own home. *OFF TO DECORATE*

What's that? What am I doing at the moment? OH just planning the trip Caleb and I are going to be taking to Hawaii at the end of March!! I am so so so excited that I can barely sit still. I was only there for a bit last time but I feel like I'm going home.
