Visitors and illness- fun!!

So my sister came to town for K's 2nd b-day.  We had a family gathering here on Sat with cake and coffee, and everyone stayed hanging out for several hours.  My aunt was upstairs playing with C for about an hour, I believe it involved dragons and wolves because I heard lots of roaring

I have an almost-three-year old friend whose favorite attraction at our weekly farmers' market is a sewer grate. So. You know. It's all about perspective.

Also, I think it's certainly true that repeated exposure (no pun intended) to germs and illness and things-that-other-people-call-icky is bound to affect your perspective. It may make you absolutely not want it anywhere in your environment, for example, or it may build up your tolerance for and understanding of it. I'm in the latter camp myself. If it comes out of the human body I've probably had to clean it up. Oh gods. Was that TMI?
