Shoots coming up where I planted bulbs?  Check!

5:15 and it is still light?  Check!

Nice green prickly weed growing in the patch of grass that is free of snow?  Check!

Oh my goodness! You have one overachieving weed!

I have been looking and looking for shoots to come up, but nothing so far. We still have an inch or two of snow cover on a lot of ground. Do you?

I am loving this time of year. Fall used to be my favorite favorite season, and I still like it quite a bit. But something about growing up has shoved spring a lot higher in my opinion.

We are loosing a lot of snow every day, but there is still quite a bit in piles. But under the trees there was less snow to begin with, and that is where I have things planted.

Yeah, I think it is too early to try and pull that puppy out....

D'oh!!! I hope I didn't.... but I know it is only March in WI, and we often hide easter eggs in snow banks. So I am not planning on having true spring anytime soon.
