John and I have been home from California for a couple of days now, and I decided I really should write about our trip before I forget the details. I'll make it less boring by including photos! Those are awesome pictures!! It looks like you had a really good time - and you might have convinced me that Matt and I should take a trip to CA, lol. The shots from Yosemite are stunning. :)

It was a lot of fun, and we managed to stay kind of within our budget (it was about $1600 total for 6 days, 5 nights). This was with very little frugality with regards to where we ate, too.

Yosemite really was awesome. If you like hiking, there are some very cool hikes you can take (which we didn't do since I am a wuss, lol).

Yep, airfare included, purchased a while ago, but still like $550 for the two of us on SW. All our hotels were a little under $100/night... the car was about $130 for the week... the rest is basically just food and gas; we didn't buy much while there, nor did we do too many activities that cost money (except getting into the park, and renting the raft).

Great pictures!

With the dress, try putting double sided tape in it, in the place where it crosses over (does that make sense?). My bridesmaids dresses were like that and everyone put the tape there and it held nice and flat.

Thanks! I am planning on wearing it again to another wedding in a few weeks and I was trying to come up with a solution that didn't involve expensive alterations .

What an amazing trip! I went out to SF in 2005 and it was awwwwsome. I really home to drag Wyl back someday. Those fires are scary looking!
