I'm a doctor now.  Go fig.  Pick up my diploma on Wednesday.

.............nope.

But it does feel good to be done.

So I got my first choice, and will be at Beaumont for the next 4 years.

I matched! Don't know where, will find out on Thursday.  But I do have a residency position for this next year.

So, I am now done with the bloody busiest month ever during my 4th year.  My Sub-I in family med was really like a Sub-I in medicine, since it was all inpatient work.  Probably not as hard as real medicine Sub-I's, but still a ton more work than I thought it was going to be (up at 4:30, home by 7 pm usually BLAH).  But they loved me, and the second ( Read more... )

Almost done with my Michigan interviews.  There are some nice programs out there, though not all are as receptive to the idea of forensic path.

Can't wait until December, where I get to be run ragged in Chi-town.  AAAAAAAaaaaaaaa..........

So far I've gotten 6 interviews lined up -- 3 in Michigan, 3 in Chicago.  Still waiting on my last 4 programs to send me some sort of notice...

OMG I need to buy a suit.

So I submitted my applications yesterday.  Applied to programs in Michigan and Chicago.  Now all I need to do is waaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiit...........

So yeah, we got married yesterday.

And it was AWESOME.

Thanks for all who came, and to those who stood with us.  We had a great time, and it sounds like everyone else did too.
