You have officially made my day. You've managed to give Ray someone who steadies him and who he can steady back (because the gods know Mike Sweeney needs a lot of that) and at the same time given Fraser True Love and Happiness (this is important to me, dammit, because of my obsessive Fraser-overprotectiveness). Even Stella is okay, because she can obviously take care of herself.

I'm not sure this is really such a random pairing, because, well. It's HUGH and it's CALLUM and there's that chemistry and all, and also it makes way too much sense to be just pulling characters out of a hat, y'know?

So anyway, MOAR, PLZ. When Fraser Meets Sweeney, even (I can't see Fraser/Mike/Ray in a sexual sense at all, but I really would like to see Mike all confused and beating his head against a wall and stuff).

Yay! I am so, so glad you like this! I really think these two (in addition to being HOT LIKE BURNING TOGETHER) are good for each other. Mike needs to push someone who's not afraid, and Ray needs someone to push at who'll take it. They're both so intense, it just makes me all flaily. BOYS!

Of course Fraser is happy! I think he and Vecchio are happy in Canada!!

Haha, I can't see Fraser/Mike/Ray, (I can, however, see Kowalski/Vecchio/Mike. Mmmm.) either, but I do want to make them all visit. Hee.

I think Mike would be like, "Seriously, this is why people think...the things they think...about Canadians. ARE YOU FOR REAL?"

Then they'd just talk about hockey.

Dude. Seriously. This is not only frakkin' hot it's also just plain awesome. Mike Sweeney/RayK BDSM? Serious genius. And hot. Did I mention hot? Very hot.

The angst potential, however, just ratchets it up into nirvanangst (I coined a new term!). To wit:

A few times they've been out and picked up a girl; they all have a good time and Mike doesn't leave with her in the morning or get her number or anything, so that's okay.

Now, look. You can't just dangle that bait out there and not expect fish like me to jump. This has to be written. Think of the potential angst, especially if it's early in the Sweeney/Kowalski relationship, and Ray's not that sure of Mike sticking around! Plus, the heat. I mean, we could power entire towns with a fic just based on this premise alone.

And then there's:
And sometimes when they were in the mood for a little variety, it wasn't just girls they took home, so it wasn't just Mike that did it for Ray.

You must write this scenario even more than the previous, you simply must. Even more potential angst

Well, I've never seen Durham County, due to the fact that I don't currently own a television and Netflix has yet to discover this show, but this fic managed to draw me in nevertheless. The character development is excellent, and I completely buy (and enjoy), angsty Kowalski enjoying painful sex. (And Hugh Dillon is ten times hotter without hair). I like the Fraser/Vecchio angle, and Ray getting over it. And I like that you're always nice to Stella.
