Update
Got my 5th term review today. The prognosis was not good. I was told that I was a terrible painter, and that I should stop making paintings. That was tough to hear. Not sure what to do with that. -
LA is weird
I went to a gallery opening, and Justine Bateman showed up. She was there, wearing red stretch pants. Very strange to be in the room with this woman who I grew up with on TV. She was Michael J Fox's brother. She looks old, but I guess we all do, since the 80s. I was way too freaked out to say anything to her. Being in LA galleries is going to mean ( Read more... ) -

Finals week is coming up. Well, I am really in the middle of it, actually. Not working as much as I thought I would be, but I think its just the time of year. Approaching Drawing #400
So, my life drawing class (Composition and Drawing) is taking up a ton of time, and I am fine with that. We have had 125 drawings for homework each week, plus 3-6 compositional analyses. Iz good foh you! Like veggies. It has taken 11-12 hours each week, just in homework time. But I can tell that my line quality is improving, and I am getting ( Read more... ) -

Nathan and I did what Captain Pickard told us to.
It was on April Fool's day, and caused a great deal of confusion, and tons of calls from family. Pretty great, though. Worth it. AND I get a husband outta the deal. -
