As a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society I'm subscribed to their newsletter and apparently in one of the past issues they posted an article by a Dr. Laura Lorentzen entitled "Why We Must Teach Evolution in the Classroom". I didn't see the article itself but in this next issue they again brought up the article due to the fact that they had ( Read more... )

I have no problem with evolution being taught in science classes as long as it's always presented as a theory. At my school it was, but too often it's not!

I don't either. I don't think it's the correct theory, but obviously a lot of people think it is so I'm fine with them presenting it. But a lot of people also believe in the intelligent design theory and I don't see how they can continue to refuse to present that theory as well and instead pass off evolution as universally accepted fact.
