This night our community, our Pack, and all those who knew Flagg, endures a terrible loss. Flagg passed away late Monday night, at New York Presbyterian Hospital, due to overwhelming complications from his recent double transplant operation. I spent the weekend out-of-town with Lexi, to attend the wedding of some good friends. It was an experience that was most excellent.

Interestingly, the wedding guests were part Leather and part vanilla. The families were most of the vanilla group. We had to learn some new names for some familiar faces, and that's always fun.( Read more. Now with work-safe pic. )

Summer is at it's end. I am looking towards the beginning of December already, as that is when my year term as Director of MAsT Metro NY is over. I never look forward to December, and I'm not doing so now. Just thinking about the transition that is soon to come.

My cable modem died today. Nine years old, it was. When I went into my service provider to swap it out, the customer next to me was there for the exact same reason, with the exact same model modem that died on me. Gives the term, "planned obsolescence" a whole new sense of reality.
