Gareth can, for once, be found in the general vicinity of the mansion, as he's not sure where else to look for Hero and her lord. So, he's looking, though it must be admitted that he doesn't seem to be working very hard at it. One might even think he doesn't actually want to find her, though of course that couldn't be the case.

Hero, upon seeing him, pretty much has the basic reaction of agh! And immediately comes up to him to beg him, very earnestly, to get the hell out of there. Not in so many words, of course. "My lord!"

He starts and instantly blushes. "My lady."

"I pray you, my lord, go from this place!"

"Why? Is your lord here?"

Cimorene was still not a fan of the Mansion, but she was up here fairly regularly trying to prepare Percy's surprise and, this time, to pick up some juggling equipment. She was passing through when she noticed, down a side hall, a familiar-looking form on the ground.

"Gareth?" She came to his side, going white, then red at the sight of the blood. "Gareth! Can you hear me?" She crouched at his side, looking for signs of life.

For a long moment there is neither sign nor reply. But then, a soft, ragged sigh.

"Gareth," she said, calmly but firmly, "if you can hear me, hang in there. Stay with me now." As she spoke, she quickly glanced over him for other serious wounds besides the obvious one, and the carefully but quickly began ripping strips of cloth from her shirt to try and staunch the blood.

Is this bad enough that's she's going to start shouting for help/I should make a main community post? She's going to try to get him home, but she's not strong enough to flat out carry him. Or you could poke your favorite Orkney brother and have them happen to be passing by, if you'd prefer...

typist: eww, I have to make choices? XD well, according to slightly sketchy website, some abdominal wounds make you bleed out in under twenty minutes..! --not that I know what to do with that information. XD So, er... it's up to you? *hides*
