I wonder

It occurs to me that preordering ME3 from EA might mean that it *ships* on the 6th, and I may not get it for a few days. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, since I have a packet due on the 12th, but still. I want it NOW! I've been *reasonably* patient for nine months. I guess it's time to look out for a confirmation email.

I think it's more likely that you *might* get it early; they are probably aiming to get it to you on the 6th, and that could mean you luck out. Or, well, not, since you have the packet due. But even if it arrives early and you can't play due to being responsible and stuff you can look at it! And you will have *such* a good bribe for finishing the packet!

You are such a wise Orchid. I shall endeavor to be responsible until deadline day.

Hmmm. *puts on thoughtful face* Origin now says order in progress.

Orchid is a Smart Orchid.

Orchid attempts to be a smart Orchid on occasion! :)

Also, according to BioWare if you pre-ordered from Origin you can load ME3 on your Origin account starting on Friday. Not sure if this applies for people who pre-ordered the physical game, rather than the digital download, but it is promising!
