Kitties went to the vet
Ziggy's been sneezing and I wanted to make sure it was nothing to worry about. Saw a different vet at the same practice. Ziggy went first because of the sneezes. Other than being a fat moose, which I already knew, she said he's fine. His lungs are clear, no nasal obstructions, just sneezes. I wonder
It occurs to me that preordering ME3 from EA might mean that it *ships* on the 6th, and I may not get it for a few days. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, since I have a packet due on the 12th, but still. I want it NOW! I've been *reasonably* patient for nine months. I guess it's time to look out for a confirmation email.

Mmmm, demo
I stayed up late last night, hoping to get the ME3 demo, but it wasn't live yet. Woke up a little early, and there it was. Downloaded it, set up a quick FemShep, and saw about ten minutes of it.
I am a happy, happy Vic. I can't wait to see how this plays out!

Lord of the Rings
Is still terribly boring to me. Almost painful, in fact. Do I really need to know what happened to the five shire ponies? That they went off to find Fatty Lumpkin, then were directed back to the Prancing Pony? People may call Brooks Tolkien light, but I'd call it streamlined. Let me get this straight
In the first Harry Potter book, six of Harry's tasks are completed by Hermione, three by Ron, one indirectly by Hagrid, and only three by the named hero? Am I missing something here? Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the characters, but it's just proving my point.
