Well, tomorrow is my first day of work. Its business professional dress, which for Portland might as well be black and white formal. So I can have fun playing dress up, until it gets old and I have to start dry-cleaning things. I am currently reading The Rum Diary, Hunter S. Thompson, and its great except for one tiny problem. I have Johnny Depp's voice in my head from Fear and Loathing, and it makes the entire story far more amusing than it should be. The man was a genius with words. Day 3 of operation new life. So far so good. I have lost 6 lbs from walking the entire SE part of the city, and being a bit too preoccupied to eat. My things arrived a day late (yesterday) but today I am almost unpacked and set up. I went to Devon's tonight for his tea party thing, and it was pretty good. I could only stand behind some really tall people, so I could see nothing, but for the most part the music was good. It was absolutley beautiful out today. I woke up on time, before my alarm clock, so I really wasnt tired when I went to class. A brisk ten minute walk across campus had me arriving at class twenty minutes early. This was ok. I watched person by person file in, take thier seats, and prepare to be bored out of their minds.
