Are you saying I can't befriend twelve-year-olds? Need I remind you that I started my professional career at thirteen, and thus most of my acquaintances were at least fifteen years older than I was?

I'm saying I dunno why you would bother befriending twelve year olds. Befriending up is one thing, but stooping and befriending down in terms of age--that's quite another, and it seems rather stupid.
