[Where the remnants are, Liquid is often not far behind. In this case, it's not quite so much intentional; he came to the ice cream shop mostly because free things make him suspicious and he wanted to check it out. But on second thoughts, he should have expected the remnants to be here. Kadaj did seem to have developed an obsession with ice cream. Oops.]

Someone looks grouchy.

[Yazoo doesn't even have to look up to see who it is. Instead he merely rests his elbow in the table and his chin in his palm.]

I see we have strays following us again. [Deadpan.]

Why, brother, I haven't noticed any.

[Liquid smiles, perching on the edge of the table without thinking. The sarcasm in his voice is palpable; it's clear he's only using the word to rile Yazoo up.]

What, no ice cream? You came all this way for nothing?

[argentallure]

You are no brother of mine. [His words would be deadpan, if it wasn't for the razor sharp edge to them. He slides his eyes over to the side to watch Liquid, contemplating putting a bullet though him....

But he can't, he has responsibility now with the police department.]

I've my reasons for being here. [Like Kadaj over at the counter insisting yes, he wants those ten flavors of ice cream all at the same time.]

Kadaj seems to disagree... Brother.

[Oh, Liquid would love the look on Yazoo's face if he tried it. But he doesn't think for a moment Yazoo will. The man's too much of a pet to his "brother". Too obedient. His lip curls slightly at the thought.]

Oh, of course. Running at the heels of your other half. An obedient puppy. Have you even tried the ice cream? You could stand to be less of a grouch.

[Yazoo was going to rip of the wood up from the chair if Liquid kept talking, if the way it felt under his tightening hand was any indication.]

Perhaps you should take some for yourself... Having your mouth full may have you less of an annoyance.

Oh, I doubt it. [He laughs. There was something of a sadistic tendency there, beneath the surface. Riling up Yazoo was far too amusing.] Besides, I'm human. Ice cream doesn't affect me so well.

[Scathing as the word is, Yazoo does not attempt to strangle Liquid Snake. But if looks could kill....]

[Liquid just smiles. There's no pleasure or joy in the smile. It's cold and empty.]

You seem to have such a problem with me, Yazoo. Now why is that?

I take problem to most inferior beings. [Yeah you walked right into that one.]

[ysobritish]

[His lips draw back in a snarl.] Yet you seem to have taken more of a dislike to me. I have to wonder if you're jealous, little brother.

There goes half the booth chair.]

[Liquid bursts out laughing.]

...oh now, look what you've done. That was very naughty of you, child.

[Although he is definitely impressed with the man's strength.]

What's holding you back, Yazoo? If you're angry at me, then hit me.

[The word child stings more than anything else, but Yazoo pulls himself together and smooths on a apathetic face.]

Because I've priorities over your pestering. [He stands abruptly, enough to rattle the table that Liquid was sitting on. Some of the staff is making their way over, looking not too happy with them.]

Priorities. Like sitting here looking like thunder.

[He mulls that over, glancing over at the staff members.]

Does nothing make you happy?

Priorities. You aren't worth my time.

[He's eying the staff and ignoring the second question, wondering if he can blame it on Liquid or charge the damages it on the same card the police gave him for their gas.]
