[Everything feels so strange, tense, like the calm before a storm. Xion can feel it, she's worried for her friends and she's worried for everyone else.

She wants to get stronger; she knows that Roxas and Joe have been training hard, and she doesn't want to be a burden to them. She wants to help Ven and Aqua get Terra back. She wants to be as strong as she knows Sora is- after all, if she's his copy, why shouldn't she be?

It's daunting though. The last time she fought anyone...

She puts that thought from her mind as she makes her way out to the woods to train.]

[She laughs for a second, jostling back.]

I know, but I can summon up a Dark Corridor in a second and get myself out of trouble if I have to, and if I see them I promise that's just exactly what I'll do.

I think they'd have better control of Dark Corridors than we do.

[He warns, but seems grateful that she has this plan anyway- and the truth is, her company is comfortable. He'd sooner rest against a tree here and doze, letting her run through some exercises, than stumble back to the apartment.]

[She squares her shoulders.]

But I'd try and hold them off long enough to get away.

I don't know. I just don't want them to hurt anyone else.

That's because my friends make me want to be a good person. And you're a good person too, even if you don't get enough sleep sometimes.

But there's so much darkness in me! [he admits sheepishly, hanging his head, although there's a splash of a blush across his cheeks, pleased to be called good.]

[Xion does not see anything amiss about this. He's just Joe, and it doesn't matter.]

[Sora jogs at a leisurely pace to catch up. He's slept a few hours at best, nothing substantial.]

Yup. Just finished last night's patrol, but I'm still wide awake. Thought I'd get a few hours training in while I could.
