[Everything feels so strange, tense, like the calm before a storm. Xion can feel it, she's worried for her friends and she's worried for everyone else.

She wants to get stronger; she knows that Roxas and Joe have been training hard, and she doesn't want to be a burden to them. She wants to help Ven and Aqua get Terra back. She wants to be as strong as she knows Sora is- after all, if she's his copy, why shouldn't she be?

It's daunting though. The last time she fought anyone...

She puts that thought from her mind as she makes her way out to the woods to train.]

[She lowers her hand as he comes closer.]

How did everything go last night? It wasn't too bad, I hope.

Nah. Just a bunch of darkness monsters is all. It's been awful quiet.

But I guess that's a good thing, isn't it?

I guess. No news is good news, isn't it? I think that's what people say...

[She tucks a stray wisp of hair behind her ear.]

It feels strange though.

[The more time Xehanort gives them to train, the better. He tilts his head as they walk.]

What's strange?

Just... not knowing. I don't like it, I just feel like there should be something more, instead of all this waiting and not knowing.

[She curls her hands at her sides into fists.]

I just want everything to be OK again.

It will be, Xion! That's why everybody's training so hard.

As long as we all stick together and do our best, we'll be ready for em' when they do show up.

Mmm.

[She nods, two parts in agreement with Sora, two parts to reassure herself.]

There's no way they can win.

Especially with all the stuff we've been learning. It's really good that Aqua's working with us. If there's anybody who could get us up to snuff, it's her.

How's your training been going?

You've been training with Aqua?

[Suddenly Xion's feeling grossly inadequate.]

Mine's been OK, I guess.

[lockandkeyblade]

Kinda. A lot of what she's been giving us to do is conditioning or helping us get a better handle on our magic. Kinda like ... getting all the basic stuff out of the way so we're strong enough to handle the complicated stuff.

Just okay? What's wrong, Xion?

[She shakes her head, squeezing out a little smile to try and reassure him.]

It's nothing, I guess you just make me realise I should be working harder, that's all.

I wouldn't say that. You've been training just as much as the rest of us. You've worked plenty hard, Xion.

[She wants to disagree, wants to say that she should be running herself ragged like Joe is and spending every waking minute getting stronger, but Sora's words are reassuring and comforting.]
