"Ooh," Ro looked down at her plate as a little smile formed again. "Thanks, Mercy."

She picked one up to take a bite and--ohhh, god. Yeah, that was helping.

"That's true." She murmured. "I wasn't asking him to marry me, but... we went almost that whole... WHATEVER it was not really figuring out what we were supposed to be. I'm not gonna lie, it was sort of a sex thing at first, but."

Mercy shrugged. "A sex thing is as good as anything."

She knew that there were worse ways to begin a relationship - getting raped, refusing to shift out of coyote form then propositioning the guy as he stretched out on her bed petting her cat came to mind.

"Yeah, but. Some guys, even the smallest commitment make them run away with their tail between their legs."
