[ Whaaaaaaaat? Ella's just pulling the container with both hands, nearly at the edge of the porch steps. ]
Assistance? No no - I've got it well in han-
[ She breaks off when she loses her balance stepping off a step, and flails one arm to regain her balance while the other is caught trying to keep the wee critter from toppling over. Somehow, she ends up stumble-sliding down a step and takes a minute or two there. Woo that got the heartbeat going, haha! ]
Oh ... well... [ Honored? She glances at the tank, then the cart -- ahah, yeah, she ... actually probably would need help getting it up onto that thing. ]
All right, if it's not any trouble...
[ Even if she hates to be a bother. She pats the top of the container. ]
You hear that little guy? You'll be home in no time.
[ Whoah that was quick. She'd been checking on little "charlie" the octopus when she hears Byakuya's voice again. In fact, she actually jerks a bit in surprise, and glances over her shoulder. ]
Byakuya -- when did you --
[ He must have been really close by because... what. Just -- what? ]
I mean, hello. Eh -- thank you for coming so quickly...?
Ella! Did the delivery from Gold Platter Fishing arrive?
[Hattie's voice can be heard from inside. She eventually reaches the doorway and leans outside, clad in a fuzzy, violet bathrobe with matching fuzzy slippers, and towel about her hair. That explains where she was for the past 45 minutes, no?]
[Byakuya eyes the problem momentarily, then disappears into shun-po. He comes back carrying three heavy sticks. One he leans against the porch and the other two he sets near the stairs. Fetching the cart, he backs it straight up to the stairs and uses kidou to lock the wheels into place.]
Come we will load the creature and then depart.
[He'd take the creature by shun-po but not even the Hell Cat is that good, no matter what she might say.
Byakuya doesn't even look up, though his briefcase and sword are leaning near one of the porch posts.]
[ ... Somehow she didn't think she'd be able to get away before Hattie showed up. More importantly, how did Byakuya do that -- teleportation? She'd heard about it when she got here ... hrr. Managing to pull her gaze away from him to stare at Hattie, she stifles a laugh. ]
I'm out here -- and yes, yes it did. [ Oh god, her distraction is her undoing - it's latched onto an arm. Look Hattie, THIS thing is what you had wanted to eat tonight 8D ]
Yeah um - loading the octopus... small problem. Come on let go- [ Tugging one tentacle free, only for another to grab hold. ]
[Hattie-Vision pretty much sees and hears Byakuya and nothing else at this point. She whips away the towel from her head, shakes out her hair, then leans against the doorway, pretending to blush.]
O- Oh my, Ella, you didn't tell me we'd be having company today. And here I am hardly 'dressed'...
[Barely a flicker of a glance and then he's seeing about the problem they have with the octopus. It's more important. He steps over and opens his briefcase, pulling out a small glass jar.]
Hold still, Ella-sama. This will not hurt.
[However, the dripping of hot sauce along the suckers of the octopus does make it begin releasing her.]
[ Ella's gaze flicks between Byakuya and Hattie, awkward. Then blinks. ]
Why ...do you have of ...what is that hot sauce? [ Phoo. It certainly smells like it - the the wee octopus releases Ella's arm quickly, retreating back into the container, leaving Ella free, freeeeeeee. ]
Don't you think you should get dressed then? [ To Hattie. ] Byakuya is just here to ... [ Throw your dinner back in the ocean. Oh. Right. ] Help me.
[Well that was unexpected, she could have sworn that she'd get Byakuya's attention! She looks a bit confused. Finally she -does- hear Ella.]
Oh.
[Helping her bring the thing -in- most likely. It's then Hattie gets a good look at the octopus and.. She doesn't question it. Perhaps because she's too distracted by Byakuya's items and gets the overwhelming urge to touch them.]
Ah, right. Well then, I'll take these in.
[Hattie, taking notice of the sword and suitcase, would go ahead and attempt to take them to bring inside.]
Ella-san, would you care for some assistance?
[He manages to keep the disgust off his face. Barely. But... octopus? Really?]

[In fact, see him packing up his things? That's because he's leaving work and shooing his irritating current assistant out.]
I would be honored to help you return the creature to wherever it is he arrived from.

The address? Oh! Yes, of course - I live in Sector Five, [address here].
[ Ironically probably not that far from where you and Toushirou live, actually. :D THAT WAS NOT PLANNED. ]

That is, in fact, on my way home.
[He's telling Hitsugaya.]
I will be there momentarily.
[Yeah, it really doesn't take him long at all. Then, he's just standing there lurking. Like the stalkertaichou he is.]
Ella-san.

Do not touch my sword.
[That's an order, and will be reinforced with violence if necessary. You don't just go about groping someone's soul, Hattie.]
I will not be staying long.
