[ The NV is picking up the sound of darkness monsters growling, surprisingly close. Unicorn was dozing quite comfortably in what she declared as her part of the forest. Until the monsters got too close... most didn't get past her protective barrier - save for one anyway. Thus, the NV picks up a decidedly equine-like snort of sleepy surprise, and

It is the Bull! [ ... Not the exact bull maybe, but it was just as big, just as mean, and just as on fire as the one from home. Her alarm trades between fear of the creature and fear that a human would get harmed. ]
Remain where you are, Lord Liquid, it is unsafe in this darkness!

[Especially not of a bull.]

It does not matter if you fear the creatures or not. I would not wish harm upon you should you encounter one.

And I do not wish harm on you from this creature!

Also dangit Liquid she can't argue logic like that. Nevermind that she gives a person two chances and no more. ]
... I see I cannot stop you from endangering yourself. [ She doesn't like to admit that, but it's true! ]

Liquid, thankfully, has the ability to heal. At least if he has water.]
Whereabouts are you?

The forest where we met, perhaps one quarter of a mile in. [ There weren't many places to hide in a forest like that. ]
I can outrun the beast still, but the number of hidden areas to make use of are few. [ If she can outrun it enough to get out of its line of sight, she can use a illusion to hide properly and hope it won't see her. ]

Right. I'm heading there. Be careful, Amalthea.
[There's the sound of hurried footsteps and a door shutting.]

Liquid will probably hear the Bullmonster before seeing it - or maybe he'll see it too. When he gets near the forest, the gaps between the trees are alight with fire, the flames of the creatures aura and dormant ability. Amalthea managed to just -barely- hide herself before the beast rounded the corner. She's not too injured, but more than anything she's exhausted.
The bull itself is stomping around the forest in a circle, roaring anger because it KNOWS its prey is nearby but he can't -see- it. ]

[He can't see Amalthea, but this must have been the Bull she mentioned. If it's killed her, he'll not be happy.
Hey! You!
[He calls to the creature, resting his weight back on his right leg. Perhaps he can lead it away from her. He has a feeling she won't react well if he just shoots the thing.]

Meanwhile the bull takes offense to being called You. With an enraged snort, the beast lumbers around to inspect the fresh meat that thinks to challenge him. One heavy stomp, and then another as it takes the bait, roaring hot breath and spittle at Liquid. Grar! FEAR IT. ]

...shows absolutely no fear at all. Oh, he feels it - who wouldn't, confronting that? - but he doesn't show it.]
You ugly old fool! Take on something that isn't afraid of you!
[His legs are braced and ready. Ready to run, if he has to. Even he can't fight hand to hand against this thing and he's wary of using his gun with Amalthea around - wherever she is.]

It's mom thought it was a beautiful monstrosity. Sniff. The flaming hoof paws at the ground once or twice, and the monster promptly charges forward, head lowered and ready to trample this gutsy human into the ground. Puny human, you go squish now!
Not wanting to use the gun in Amalthea's vicinity would be somewhat appreciated - she wouldn't like it much but at the same time, she wouldn't want Liquid to handicap himself because of her. From her hiding spot, she can hear the bull's attention being pulled elsewhere - did she dare investigate? As curious as she might be, she was for the moment, safe at least. ]

This way, de'la! Come get me, you pitiful coward!

So since it got such a lovely invitation, the bull growls like a ....beast really... and chases after the other man with the single mindedness of a freight train. The further the beast draws from Amalthea's hiding place, the more confident she felt - enough to unweave the invisibility spells she bound around herself, inching towards the nearest gap in trees to peer out worriedly. ]
