Just a little update
Just a little update. At the 1st of the year I put myself on a 1300 calorie diet to try to lose some weight. Unfortunately we haven't had the money to get all the stuff I need on the diet but we compromised on some stuff and the first week went well I lost 2 lbs. 2nd week I don't know what happened but I seemed to not lose anything. 3rd week I was ( Read more... ) -
Jax Update
Jaxon has started talking more and he is to the mimicking phase. Every time I say a word to him he doesn’t know he says it back at me. It’s astonishing to hear him say words I didn’t even know he had been hearing. Like cloud and moon. He still doesn’t talk in sentences or if you talk to him but if he wants to know what something is he lets you know ( Read more... ) -
New House
Around June/July Marie’s mom got kicked out of her apartment because of her brother so we decided to let her stay with us for a bit until she could find a place. Then Marie and Jeremy started looking at houses and we all started talking about getting a bigger house. Marie contacted a realtor we know and a lender to see how much she could get toward ( Read more... ) -
Addition to the family
So around May we found out that Marie was pregnant. She had a pretty rough pregnancy, she was sick pretty much up till the last couple of weeks. She lost more weight than she gained cause she couldn’t keep any food down. I felt really bad for her after seeing how easy my pregnancy went. But in November she had a beautiful baby boy. Organizing Update
Ok so one of the things I left off with at the beginning of the year was the organizing challenge. I managed to get the other two to suffer through about 4 of the challenges then life got in the way. Ash Wednesday
Last Wednesday was Ash Wednesday which means the start of Lent. Now I'm not Catholic, but I do occasionally do Lent for my own reasons. I see it as a way to challenge myself to quit or start a habit. Paper challenge before and after
So after 3 weeks and life being life we finally have the desk moved and organized. The desk was a landing spot for anything that was brought into the kitchen... papers, food, dishes clean and dirty.
