Lurgy and box sets
Damnit... My sky box failed to record last Saturday's episode of Merlin. So I suppose I'll have to iplayer it.. :)
Off work since yesterday with the dreaded lurgy.. It's as good an opportunity as any to geek out for the day.

Have new fandom, will squee
Ok so I have a new fandom. I saw an episode of this programme a couple of years ago with my mum and dad, I remember than saying, as they did with so many of their police procedural type shows, "watch this you'll like it"

Birthday
So it's my birthday in a few days. It's odd, but ive not posted to LJ in a long time.... But somehow it seems the only place one would post personal things.. Facebook is just for shallow things. So it will be my birthday on 24th June. But it seems so very unimportant having lost my mum last year, this will be the first birthday she will have missed ( Read more... ) -
Day one - Survived.
So did my first day in my new job. Absolutely shattered now....lots of new information to take in as always...hope my new colleagues are as good humoured as my old ones.
Best joke of the induction to date however, was made by the Health and Safety Man....
Doesn't seem to bode well.

I've been insanely busy the past few months but things seem to have settled down a little finally so I'll be able to post more often. I'm going to check my flist tomorrow and spam everyone.
