I was planning to ask if anyone on my flist has seen Jarhead, cause i haven't heard that many people talk about it. It got released here last thursday and i might go see it. I got this from a friend, maybe it'll help you cheer up a bit :)

Beautiful wallpaper, your friend is very talented as well.

Oh, it helps a lot ;D Thanks !! Go see the movie if you can, you'll love it at least for Jake, he's really great, funny at times, crazy sometimes also, and always beautiful to watch.

Candy is talented, and I'm quite lucky she's letting herself be convinced to love Ewan enough to make wallpapers ;D

Aw, siriala, that sucks about the car insurance. Hope you find a more upfront & honest carrier soon. :( And *hugs* to your pets!

I've not seen Jarhead, perhaps when it comes out on DVD I shall rent it. I like Peter Sarsgaard as well, I've only seen him in Kinsey but he was excellent and naked in that film.

I like the fact that you showcase other wallpaper artists in your journal - it's great to see other people's style and approach. And Ewan is always a pleasure to look at! ;)

The insurance didn't accept my car before I put on it some device to prevent stealing because of where I live. Which I did, and although it's annoying when starting the car, it has indeed prevented stealing at least twice. I'm sure they think I'm not giving them enough money since I have a bonus and they don't want to pay anymore (they were certainly badly scared by all those burned cars a few weeks ago in the suburb). Argh ! I don't want to think about them anymore ! Thanks for the hugs and consider yourself hugged back ( ... )

Oh, that just sucks (a word I hardly ever use, but never mind, it fits here). *hugs* I'm just happy I don't have to worry about any insurance companies yet, the pleasures of being young and still living with your parents do make your life a lot easier I think... But honestly, that sounds like an incredible way to do things. Is that even a really good reason to dump someone? Grr. Stupid stupid.

I'd love to see Jarhead, especially now as the trailers are all over the local tv channels (which I find a little surprising). But there seems to be too many good films coming out at the same time! *sighs* Why now? I know I am making a little pocket money with my baby-sitting but nothing too incredible to allow me to see four films this month. :/ Maybe I need to buy the DVD when it comes out...

Oh, that wallpaper is wonderful! ♥ You really have talented friends; I love the colours and the pictures chosen. I'm not surprised it made your day. :)

According to their goal, it's a valid reason enough. But from my position, they feel like those people who claim they are your friend and then disappear by the time you really need them. And it's not a nice feeling.

Yeah, it's the same here. Jarhead last week, Brokeback Mountain tomorrow, and very soon also The New World, Breakfast on Pluto, Pride and prejudice, The King, Derailed... it never stops. It's great of course to have many interests but it's really expensive. 8,50 euros at least, pl the car park...

Yeah, the tickets are approximately 8,50€ in here too, the good thing is that as this is a small city, we never have to pay for parking. :P Plus, my family doesn't have a car, so I'm always after getting rides from other people... *le sigh* I'm just pissed off with the local cinema, it seems like only P&P will be coming here soon, and even there it merely says that "opening day soon". *kicks Bio Marilyn* Where Brokeback Mountain? And Jarhead? We're not living in such a small city after all!!

And oh, Siriala, thank you sooo much for those pictures of Christian! ♥ I really, really like and appreciate them. *hugs* He's looking so gorgeous... Oooh. The eyes. I can't help it, I must go and drool now.

My first answer reminded me that I had still not sent you the CB pic I promised with my last CB wall. Sorry for that ! Here is the original one first, and then you can find the pic cleaned and prepared for the wallpaper. Hope you'll appreciate them ;)

I swear I will shoot your insurance company with a nail-gun, I will!!! Then I will torture them with a hanger and then throw a chainsaw at them. *cough- not-crazy cough* ;)

Errr... thanks Scarlett, or is it thanks Patrick ?... I'm getting a bit confused here but thanks all the same :) (of course, not crazy ! not at all)

The babies are better already, and the cat has stop puking (?) everywhere all day long, which is kinda nice ;)

BBM tomorrow evening !!! (because I have a diner with some friends this evening so I can't go today ;D) I can't wait !

Johansson. I should have said Jordan Two Delta, to keep in character. When Lincoln and Jordan are almost trapped at the railway station, Jordan uses something to defend herself and prevent a guy from finding them. Isn't this thing a nail gun ?

Ugh isn't that always the way... when you DON'T need insurance they love charging you and when you actually have to use it they drop you like a hot potato! *sigh*

I hope your pup is ok... we just went through having a lump removed from our dog last Spring... it was malignant but it was caught early enough that it hadn't spread. *knock wood* It's so hard with pets... they are just like children to us! *HUGS*

Hang in there sweetie...

LOVELY wall paper by the way! :D

Dog and cat are both better. Siria was operated twice already, and the vet warned me that it would be difficult to do it again, because the skin is stretched each time a bit more and he said that "there's not much left" ;)

Plus she's almost eleven and I don't like operations on older animals. I lost my favourite cat, who was operated for a very big tumour, during the operation. His heart failed, he was 15. I still miss him, he really was like my kid, and always in a happy mood. I guess it's even worse when you don't have any child, you have to "use" this love inside with someone ;)

Now it's my turn to be mildly sick since yesterday (probably gastroenteritis, there's an epidemic here), and I'm so very tired. Sorry if I don't comment a lot these days, I'm there, just half asleep ;)

I know just how you feel about operations in older animals... when my favorite kitty got sick they gave me the option of an operation for her but she was 16 at that point and the chances of her dying on the table were riskier than to just treat her with meds and let her stay home and happy... she lived two more years after that which was a year and a half longer than the doctors told us she would. One day she just curled up in my lap and I knew it was time... I still miss her too.... I miss both of my kitties... the other one died two years after that... Lady our larger dog thought he was her puppy and she still misses him... she grooms all the stuffed animals I've given her since just like she used to with him. Animals are so easy to love ... and miss... aren't they?

Awwwwwwwww you poor thing.... Dr Mom says to drink lots of fluids and stay off your feet... just sleep it off sweetie.... *HUGS*
